A lot of people who are getting started in network marketing never really grasp the true meaning of the word network marketing. First and foremost, most people don't realize that network marketing is made up of two words and so they don't separate each word into its own group. Network is solely based upon networking and marketing is solely based up marketing.

Networking is basically adding new contacts to your network. The beauty about networking is that you never really know who you are going to meet. Marketing is basically the ability to advertise. The truth is if you can master marketing you can literally dominate anything. You need to be able to know where and how to market. Here are a few books to help you get started with marketing; Marketing to the Social Web, Hot Buttons, and Permission Marketing.

When you separate these two words into their own group and focus on each individual word will see how much easier network marketing really becomes. So on one hand focus on building your network because you never know what the future will hold for you and who you will meet. On the other hand focus on marketing and getting your information display all across the internet. It's just as easy as that.
